Young mother of two, Lynsey Quy went missing from the town of Southport, England in 1998. It was 53 days before a social worker reported her disappearance to the police. Her husband Mitchell claimed Lynsey had deserted him and their kids on Christmas Day. He ran to every media outlet in the vicinity to throw himself a public pity party and denigrate her to the press. The police and Lynsey’s family knew that Lynsey had died at the hands of her abusive husband. The problem was how they would find a way to prove her murder without a body.
