You could say the crap apple doesn’t fall too far from the crap tree. In the case of Matthew Milat this couldn’t be more true. Nephew of Backpacker Murderer, Ivan Milat, Matthew’s crimes were also brutal and disgusting.
On November 20, 2010, Matthew lured David Auchterlonie to the Belanglo State Forest on his 17th birthday with the promise of beers and weed. There, with the help of friend Cohen Klein, they tortured, tormented and murdered David with a double-sided battle axe in the same forest where his Uncle murdered seven backpackers nearly 20 years earlier.
This episode was recorded on the 10th Anniversary of the evening when Matthew murdered David Auchterlonie.
