It was Japan in the late 80’s and Tsutomu Miyazaki was heavily into anime. He also enjoyed kidnapping little girls, murdering them and engaging in vile sexual acts with their dead bodies. He claimed at trial that it was his love of anime and an alter ego named “Rat Man” that made him do it. We call bullshit on all of that.

In the mid 1800’s in central Queensland the Fraser family and the local Yeeman tribe didn’t always see eye to eye. Some settlers thought it was fine to rape and abuse Aboriginals and the Yeeman thought these acts warranted retaliation. The payback that rained down on the Yeeman people, led by William Fraser, was a horrible display of racism and bloodshed that virtually wiped out the Yeeman tribe.
